mkvcreate - a DVD ripping manager
This is a script I wrote for ripping DVDs. It rips and encodes the DVD titles to XViD using mencoder and storing them in the матрёшка open container format. What's new about this format is that it can store any number of audio and subtitle tracks in the same file. mkvcreate will automatically rip all the audio tracks and subtitles for every language on the DVD so that you can later play the file with any of the languages. Audio is currently ripped verbatim as AC3 and subtitles as VobSub.
